Xaisha Bailey, known artistically as Zay Monae, hails from the vibrant heart of South Los Angeles. A blend of African American and Mexican heritage, Zay is a creative spirit dedicated to showcasing the beauty and artistry found in every individual. Her work is a celebration of authentic experiences, bridging the rich cultures of her ancestry while fostering support for those in need.

From the tender age of eight, Zay found herself mesmerized by the power of storytelling through the lens of a camera. This passion blossomed in high school when she began her professional journey in photography. Zay captured the milestones of her peers, from headshots and senior photos to the lively moments of champagne parties, laying the foundation for her career. Her academic pursuits led her to California State University, Dominguez Hills, where she earned a Bachelor's degree in Digital Media Arts in 2018.

Zay's approach to photography is deeply personal, with every piece of her work emanating from the heart. This authentic touch has opened doors to a realm of wonder and countless opportunities.
